On Monday night the wood projects made their debut in front of the crowd at the choir concert. After the final touches were made on the projects, they were moved out of the shop to be put on display. Senior Xavier Kadrmas said, “I made an oak dresser that only cost about $340 dollars.” Shop teacher Chad Suter said, “The average cost of most of the projects were about $300 to $350 dollars.” A lot of the woods projects consist of big pieces or a lot of small detailed pieces. Junior Jonny Kletsch commented, “Mine was very difficult just for the fact that I made a lot of small trim pieces on my two shelves.” There were several great comments on how well all of these projects were crafted. Teachers, students, and spectators at the concert were amazed. There were a total of 12 students displaying projects with some students having multiple projects. Be sure to compliment the students on their great work and accomplishments.
