If you happen to go to a football game or wrestling match here in Barnesville, you’re bound to see senior Alex Jenison. Jenison is like many other seniors trying to decide what he wants to do after graduation. Jenison said, “Next year I plan to continue my path towards becoming a Marine. After my five-year contract is up, I’m planning to go to college in Florida.” Although many seniors are ready to graduate, everyone is going to miss something about high school. Jenison said, “My favorite memory is playing football with my friends because spending time as a team brought me close to some of my friends. It will be sad to depart from everyone after high school.” Something you may not know about Jenison is that he “actually prefers to be called Alexander rather than Alex.” Offering advice to underclassmen, Jenison said, “Never be afraid to ask for help, no matter what it is. I struggled a lot in school but was too shy to ask for help. Teachers and people are there to help you; don’t be afraid to ask.” Best of luck to Alex and everything he plans to do!
