Have you ever been in Advanced Woods? Well, in Barnesville High School there are woods classes every year. Woods 1 is a class that you have to take to be able to be in Advanced Woods. This is a class that many students take to enhance wood working skills. There are differences between the projects. A couple of the students were asked who did the best project. Seniors Jonah LeNoue, Owen Lewis, Tessa Herman, and Wylie Lewis all agreed that Junior Hunter Zenzen had the best bed side table project. Jonah and Tessa stated, “What put Hunter’s project over the average table was his handle.” Hunter used a deer antler for his handle; he was the only one to use an antler for his handle. Another thing the students noticed about Hunter was his work ethic in class was better than anyone else. He was the first one done but at a good pace and had the best project. Berggren had a different opinion: “Owen Lewis’s was the best because he finished quick and it still looked very good.” These students were voted the best Woods 1 project for semester 1, and they have gained a lot of respect from their peers for it.
