Cassidy Rood
Cassidy Rood is a senior at Barnesville High School. She loves to hangout with her friends and family. She plays volleyball in the fall and softball in the spring. In the Concert Band, she plays the trombone and has ever since she was in 5th grade. Her favorite food to eat is sushi and pizza, but not together. She drinks coffee almost every morning, because if she didn’t, she would get a headache. After high school, Cassidy would like to go to school at Minnesota State University, Mankato and get a degree in Mass Communications or education. Growing up, she went on many different trips. She has been to Las Vegas at least 12 times, as well as Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, and other cities. Traveling is something Cassidy enjoys very much, and she will continue to do it the rest of her life. When she isn’t in school, you will find her hanging out with her friends, even though she should be doing her homework. They are usually driving around and listening to music, which is probably a waste of time. Dollar General is her favorite place in Barnesville, because it has everything she needs. This summer, she coached 5th and 6th grade Ponytail Softball, and attended some volleyball camps with her friends. Summer brought her a lot of good memories, but she is ready to be a senior and make it the best senior year ever.
